30+ and never watched the movie so had no idea what I was getting into just that this child has an illness which forces her to stay indoors.

Iiiii was not reaaddddyyyyyyy! Ugh this damn story! I will say, some of the actions taken were a bit naiive but they are also in highschool so I suppose that’s to be expected. But I really really did love the relationship created between Mads and Olly, just the best! There’s lot of levels of domestic abuse and emotional trauma in this one so check triggers.

There was a part towards the end, something happens and I’m just like wait how though because of this other thing? A bit farfetched.

But overall  really powerful story on family and friendship and mental illness.
