Twisty and confusing with clear inspiration taken from media such as The Shining and The Haunting of Hill House.

Read this in the middle of the night during a power outage, which really serves to enhance the experience.

As the novella takes place simply from notebook entries by the MC, you're kind of stuck in this liminal, unreliable narrative without any clear idea of what is going on. All you know is that something is deeply wrong with that house and with the MC. The interdimensional time, rift ideologies was also an interesting note and this was a fun, scary read to consume in the dark all in one sitting.
