I originally attempted to read this book last year right before it came out, but I ended up putting it down because the beginning was quite slow. It was hard getting past all the mountain names and jargon that was all new to me. I'm glad I picked it up again because by the midway point, the story started to pick up, and I ended up enjoying it.
