A Time of Blood by John Gwynne

5.0

John Gwynne does it again! Rev is still by far one of the most fascinating characters. I knew what the spoiler was going to be, the little twist, after having just finished another book with the same plot line. That being said, I think everything was very well done and this new dynamic is interesting.

Kol, as much as I hate him, is an interesting character. Truthfully, all of the characters we have at the moment are captivating in their own way. I don't know how Gwynn does it but I'm invested in every single person, the good and the bad.

I'll elaborate on this review once I have more time, but this is an exceptional series. I'm excited to read it's conclusion!
