AT LAST!! I was dying to read LEGENDARY!!! I was completely in love with CARAVEL and I wanted to read the sequel right away, but sadly the book was just a name back then!! I don’t think anyone will understand the sufferings a bookworm goes through while waiting for the next squeal of a book that she loved 😦

Anyways!! Now that I have got it I am dancing and crying at the same time!! So many unfinished business!! AND I have to wait for the next book again?!!!!!!! :O

Anyways Back to the point!! Here is what I thought about this book…

As I don’t like giving away spoilers in my reviews, its rather hard writing all the things I felt during reading this book.. Anyways I am trying my level best to keep it spoiler free… So read ahead!!

Legendary is told from Donatella’s (Tella) point of view. I used to love Tella before, but after this book, I am head over heels in love with this girl!! She is everything I have dreamt my female leads to be. She is witty, smart and challenging…

But being told no—even from herself—only made Tella want to do the opposite.

In this book we get a clear image of what Tella really is, not what others think she is. And I really really loved her wittiness.. It made the book even more enjoyable and lively..

Tella was amazing; of course Death would want to keep her..

The story follows Tella as she attends another Caraval, where the winning prize is “Legend“. She needs Legend for fulfilling her debt to her mysterious friend. She doesn’t care if Legend could be destroyed if her friend knew who he is, after all Legend is a villain, right?

…the best villains are the ones you secretly like..

Or maybe she does?!! After all Caraval is always more complicated than it seems… And among this complications for the first time Tella felt like her heart might be willing to fall in love!!

“I’ve never wanted to be someone else until that moment I saw him kiss you on the dance floor.”

The story is way more complicated and beautiful than the first book, and by the middle of the story I felt so frustrated!! I was doubting everyone on that point. Just like Tella…

You’re the most beautiful liar I’ve ever seen..

So many mysteries! So many emotions!! So many heart breaks and aches..

“I’m definitely not the hero.”

“I already knew that,” Tella said. “It’s my story, so clearly I’m the hero.”

A magical tale with lots and lots of emotions, mysteries and a female lead I can die for!! What else anyone needs in a good book??
