Double Booked by Lily Lindon
5.0
As a bi-oriented aroace interested in bi representation (even if I can't relate to the characters because, as aesthetically attractive as I can find some people, I never want to date anyone), I was curious about this book I saw advertised several times on Twitter. I was also hesitant, worried I shouldn't want to read it because, if the main character has a double life, it means she must be a liar and cheat... but in the end I decided I didn't care what my opinionated, "fully bi" acquaintances would say, and I'm glad I did because it was a very entertaining read. I loved everything with the band and also liked the contrast between the two versions of Georgina (even if it did seem rather stupid of her to create a cliché lesbian persona just because she had a crush on a woman) so, although I do understand why some readers disliked the novel (particularly those who couldn't stand the cliché characters), I really enjoyed it - found it hard to put down and all that - which is all that matters, so I give it 5 stars and refuse to be judged for it.
