I love it that the author doesn't exaggerate when she says that Jane is plain. It didn't make Jane's story less interesting, it actually seemed to add more to the story, and you do seem to forget what she looks like throughout it. All the YA adult books you read today seem to all just have pretty or gorgeous main characters but who Jane is, is what the author focuses on and what you remain enraptured by. The mystery was pretty easy to figure out, at least for me, but it was a great read!
