"YES I'M PARANOID- BUT AM I PARANOID ENOUGH?"

How do I go on reading after a book like this? How do I go on living?

This is my favorite book and I knew that long before I finished it. And yet I cannot synthesize my thoughts coherently. The experience of this book is like nothing else and fuck, man, I just really loved it. It's the postmodern world laid bare. It's fucking horrifying and underlying all of it is addiction: addiction to everything that gives us pleasure. I've never read a more American book and I doubt I ever will. Holy shit I really just... I loved it.
