Hacienda Moon: The Path Seekers by Kasonndra Leigh
5.0
This is one of the best books I have read since joining the Bitten team. The story of Tandie Harrison and the house known as Chelby Rose is intriguing and beautiful. Tandie is a lost psychic and well known author. She feels called to the Chelby Rose and hopes it will help her find her way back to her visions and into a new life. Tandie gets all she wishes for and more when she finds herself caught up in a 300 year old curse. Eric Fontalvo is hired to help Tandie clean the Chelby Rose up and bring her back to her once glorious appearance. But Eric's family is the one that is cursed. Tandie and Eric need to find a way to break the curse to help the Chelby Rose, themselves, and the entire area.
While this wasn't a scorcher with lots of heated scenes, the underlying love that grows between Tandie and Eric is amazing. Their relationship doesn't come wham-bam-thank-you-mam style, but slowly grows and develops as they both feel an irresistable pull to spend time together. With many qualities you find in a good paranormal thriller, the curse takes on a life of its own, blurring the line between the real world and the spirit world. It's time for the curse to be broken, but will Eric and Tandie find a way in time.
The writing of Hacienda Moon was fun to read. The world came alive (along with the ghosts of the past) and the story unfolded in an amazing and natural way. I was very excited by the ending and couldn't put it down to save my life!!!
