Mixed feelings about this one. 💔 The beginning was intriguing, however the lack of communication and the way the protagonists handled certain situations were both highly frustrating and prevented my total enjoyment of this book. I would say that Zachary was an interesting character in terms of portrayal and progression - especially as we’re getting to know him. His story was very emotional and when it’s addressed, it’s raw and you feel everything along with him. I’m just not sure how I feel about the way things developed in the book. The characters felt naive, reactive in most scenarios, and not too willing to address the issues that were emerging. I don’t mind instant attraction but you gotta give me a bit more than that. An okay read for me, not bad but not as unforgettable as I would’ve preferred it to be :’)
