I really enjoyed this, I thought it was the perfect spooky October book.
It was however a slow book and in parts it felt glacial.
I loved the haunting aspects and found the bits about Highgate cemetery particularly interesting.
The author dealt with death and mental health well, and I genuinely cared about the characters, even when they made shitty decisions.
I would recommend this if you like a slow burn book, it kind of put me in a slump and really had to force myself to finish this book up.
It really was a good book, but i think some of it could have been cut out just to speed it up a bit. Around 100 pages longer than I would have liked! 😂
