call me overly moralistic but i am firmly on the camp that abusive people are, indeed, very much not just people who do bad things but are literally bad fucking people.

don't get me wrong: i harbour much sympathy for whatever message colleen hoover is trying to make here, but that line single-handedly ruins the whole thing for me.
