Blind Faith by N.R. Walker

An emotional M/M romance between a blind man and his guide dog’s new veterinarian. Carter and Isaac's story had moments of humor, raw emotion, steam, frustration and empathy. For the most part I enjoyed the main characters’ chemistry and interactions.
I appreciated Carter’s patience with Isaac and willingness to let Isaac have his little temper tantrums. I wanted to really like Isaac but at times his character felt so childish and moody. I understood the foundation of his frustrations and reservations but his continued behavior became too much at times, especially around his dog Brady. I’m just glad he redeemed himself in the end.
The romance in this story was sweet and a beautiful slow burn. I loved the physical exploration that the couple took together. Their trust in each other was palpable. I enjoyed how Isaac's disability didn’t effect their relationship in the slightest.
The dialogue in the book was a little bland and felt kind of cheesy at times. It wasn’t too deep or complex.
I listened to this book on audio and didn’t particularly love the narration by Michael Pauley. It was just okay.
