I must admit that I had a hard time establishing an emotional connection with the characters, particularly when it came to their romantic development. The writing style utilized in the book seemed to rely too heavily on telling rather than showing, which made it hard to get fully invested in the story. Moreover, the characterization lacked depth and failed to capture any compelling attributes or qualities of the characters that would have made them more engaging. Overall, I found the book to be lacking in substance and depth.
