This was painful😩 painful because I think either the writing or the pacing was just too slow for me to not appreciate the story, not appreciate what the characters were going thru. I honestly can’t remember if I even got to the journey part because I did not care. This one actually hurt to DNF but I will try Kindred before I completely give up on this author…
