An Academy for Liars by Alexis Henderson

4.5

This is a wonderfully mysterious and engaging book. It is very atmospheric and the writing makes it easy to really visualize the world. Lennon to me was a very frustrating character, but in a way that felt so intentional like we are supposed to annoyed with her and the decisions she makes but understand that she is a flawed person and that having flaws doesnt mean she is undeserving of love and respect. And particularly given how terribly she was treated by those around her I came to love her character so much. Lennon is really why I ended up loving this book so much in addition to the really creative story. And I was really surprised how much I ended up enjoying the romance! One of my favorite dark academia I've read so far!
