Once again, a fantastic premise, but good lord the plot is a mess. Characters show up for the sole purpose of disappearing again two pages later. People roam all over the island for no apparent purpose. The first two thirds is SO SLOW.
Despite my 2 star review I thought I might finish the trilogy at least to say I did, but then I learned that there are actually two more books planned, and I ain't got time for that.
