The Angels are devoid of wings and powers when first appearing in each universe. They have to locate their Axioms in order to gain their powers again. Until then, they're Human. Kita takes a backseat to Kimmy in this story as she takes near-fatal damage and thinks there's no hope left for her. Lots of action, drama, and romance, including two straight couples, which aren't often shown in this series. I think I may enjoy the New Angels books best so far. UV the hive mind is such an interesting character.
