Once again, I am absolutely enthralled by this series and plot.

I was sort of sad to find that Lukas and Amare were leaving the Sunken City in this book because that setting is one of the reasons that I fell in love with the first book; However, the authors writing is so well done that any setting she curates is perfect. I loved the "fake marriage" aspect. It was a fun way to build the Amare and Luka's relationship. Had it not been for that situation they would have never explored their true feelings for one another.

Lyra and Shoaka also contributed to this amazing book. I loved these two side characters. Overall, the author does an amazing job at found family.
