I read Emily Henry's People We Meet on Vacation last year and really enjoyed it. I think I gave it four stars. It was good but not great. I went into Book Lovers expecting much the same and was slapped in the face by my wrongness. This book is so freaking good. The romance is one of the better romances I've ever read. I've never really understood the concept of having a "book boyfriend" before, but if I were going to get on board with the concept, it would definitely be with Charlie. However, what I really loved about the book, was the sister plot. I absolutely love me a good sisters story, and this one was so unexpected and really took the book a whole new level. I really enjoyed the small-town setting and thought Henry did an amazing job with all of the characters therein. I also appreciated her ability to poke fun at the stereotypes and tropes she used by having the main character be a literary agent. I thought that aspect was really genius. I really just loved this whole entire book!
