I can't tell if he had feelings for her too or if she got over her own. And was her father aware something weird was going on with her, which is why he tried bridging the gap?

Also, the dead woman- iflife disperses pretty immediately after death and only her thighs have been cut up, doesn't that mean she's either useless now or will be useless if they don't eat her soon?


All in all, with all the time taken for cooking and everything, being a magician in this universe seems to be a Sisyphean task, what with all the time taken for cooking and everything.
