The Dating Plan by Sara Desai
2.0
Warning: Negative Review Ahead
I did not enjoy this book and if it hadn't been for the reading goal I set for myself I wouldn't have finished it. I did not enjoy any of the characters, and the expository dialogue toward the end had me audibly groaning. The plot was overly stuffed with unnecessary tangents and about 45 too many characters. The female software developer stereotypes were fully at play here, and as someone who works in software half of the "developer speak" Daisy mentions isn't used in the real world. It seemed overthought, complicated, and unoriginal and needed at least four more rounds through editing.
