“This is a nightmare I’m not going to wake up from. This is my reality.”
“Such a sweet fvcking nightmare.”
“I’m not sure if he’s trying to scare me or turn me on.”
“This? This is only the beginning.”

I loved this book! Carving for Cara was amazing and somehow this one was even better!

The book picks up right from where the first one ended, and I loved reading about Cara’s reaction to her gift and what was going through her mind in that moment.

The book is again told in two POVs and I think the dual-POV storytelling worked perfectly for the story. I was equally interested in both of their thoughts and feelings.

The relationship development between Cara and Rhett was so good and I loved their banter & dynamic. There were some really funny moments that made me chuckle. And the spice was spicing!

The storyline itself was great and kept me engaged. I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one sitting.

I already loved Rhett after reading CFC and this book made me love him even more. I would love to read more about him and Cara in the future!
