I picked this up because I'm currently learning Portuguese and Everand recommended me this book. The cover immediatelly intrigued me and when I saw it was a sapphic story with a spider-woman in one review I was instantly bought.
The beginning hooked me in and I enjoyed this immensely. The story is a bit simple (it's a novella), but the atmosphere, the relationship, Anatema, the setting, tarantulas, all of it was so aluring, I was very entertained. Not to mention I giggled at the end. This was really sweet. Also I filmed reading vlog (in Croatian) tracking my progress and thoughts on the book, and my mission is to promote the shit out of it when the english translation comes out. We deserve weird monster sapphics.
