I love you Cate but a chin strap?! I didn’t realize this book took place in 2004 on the Jersey Shore. I will say that I love how not every FMC in Cate’s books are the epitome of western beauty standards. They have imperfections but it doesn’t stop their MMCs from going absolutely feral over them so we love that BUT all that said, it won’t stop me from skipping any and all descriptions of chinstraps, khakis or fedoras.
