I read Sedaris’ books in his voice, with what I reckon is his pacing. His humour that makes my laugh loudly is most often ‘Cards Against Humanity’ style, so bad I love it. But the tenderness and warmth woven through his obsessive and snarky approach to life mellows the naughtiness.
