The book isn’t bad, but it didn’t meet my expectations.
My biggest issue is that we’re told about the past rather than shown it—there isn’t a single flashback. Things that were teased, like their first kiss, her bachelorette party, and her eventually finding out about the poker nights, are all missing. It would have been better to make this book longer—like Zane and Celeste’s—because it would have worked in this book’s favor.
There were things I did like. I loved Sierra and Xavier; they were genuinely very cute. I also loved how Raven and Dion were there for them every step of the way, and I enjoyed seeing the Windsors again as well as meeting the Kingstons.
