The Last Book in the Universe by Rodman Philbrick

4.0

I enjoyed this book. It was slow at first and a bit confusing with all this lingo that I had to keep up with. This is an interesting tale about a boy named Spaz who lives in the destructive future with no books. We find out that Spaz has a dying step sister and this tale turns to one of him trying to save her. Along the way, we will encounter odd but scary (at least to me) technology, interesting characters, and gangs. I recommend this book for others to read. It will definitely keep you entertained and has a few very enjoyable twists.
