The Birds of Opulence by Crystal Wilkinson
5.0
A wonderfully written story about several generations of African-American women and their happiness, troubles, and daily lives. It is a compelling novel that makes it a quick read. The generational aspect is also of particular interest to me, as it shows common threads in the lives of these women, as well as significant differences.
