Although this is the third book in the From the Files of the Otherworlder Enforcement Agency, it is the first I have read. I liked Astrid and Mason, but for such a short book it lacked urgency. At just over a hundred pages I found myself bored a few times. There was action and conflict, but the story just seemed to lag at times. The love scene’s were hot, but not explicit or detailed. I won’t be going back to read the previous installments, but I may continue on with this series when I am in the mood for a quick read.
