this book was really interesting, both in the way/style it was written and in the story. the story is somewhat sad but has a lighter ending with a cliffhanger in which i hope it ends well for circe. i was unfamiliar with the myth of circe until reading this, but i look forward to reading other mythical retellings by Madeline Miller.
