Chocked full of ham-fisted metaphors, mean spirited “commentary”, and overly simplistic language, this is a book that’s begging you to find it deep and edgy and pleading with you to imagine that it has some sort of profound viewpoint on contemporary American politics instead of being a reductive and nihilistic take on humanity.
