Asterie, Emmerick and Frenris are phenomenal characters. One of my favorite tropes is found family and this one is full of found friends and family. This isn’t your typical fairytale retelling in all the right ways. The way Rapanzel was weaved in was EVERYTHING!! The tension and banter was on point. The world building was fun and easy to understand. While the pace was good, I'm a little sad some parts weren't expanded upon but really because I didn’t want this to one end.
