Loved this! It's been on my TBR for a while because I've had the book sitting on my shelf so I'm glad to finally read it. I saw the show first, without knowing anything about the story except that it was by Alison Bechdel (not even sure if I knew it was autobiographical?), and was absolutely blown away. I kind of liked the experience of having seen the show first, because it was so interesting to see which parts were re-arranged and elaborated on in the show (the Ring of Keys moment only takes up like two panels in the book?!? WHAT haha!) and getting to see more of her internal monologue in the book really added to the story as a whole.
