Having loved “What Katy Did” as a child, but never having read the sequels I decided to start with this one. I loved reading about Katy’s adventures at boarding school, and find her such a charming and likeable character. I love that Susan Coolidge finishes this book by saying that she will no longer write about Katy’s adventures because she is grown, but begins the next one by dedicating it to all the girls who were desperate to know more of Katy’s adventures after school. Looking forward to reading What Katy Did Next while also feeling that slight sadness when finishing a really good book, which is similar to losing a friend.
