The Quicksilver Court is the second novel in the series, and while I struggled with the first half, the second half was a little more intense and engaging, hence the 4 stars. I wasn't always fond of the Rookery to be honest, & sometimes thought the scenes with them were slightly too hectic & one too many characters & did suffer for it. My favourite character is obviously Ryx & really enjoyed her character arc and her romance with Severin. I also really love the lore surround demons too - another highlight. I probably will pick up the final novel at some point just to see where the story goes.
