The Dragon's Bride by Katee Robert
5.0
4.5/5 ⭐️s
This book had no right to be this good!
Desperate to escape her abusive husband, Briar makes a deal with a demon and finds herself married to a dragon lord, Sol.
Ummm…why did I not realize this was marriage of convenience sooner?! This is the BEST trope, and this one gave me Radiance vibes. Briar and Sol were so respectful of each other. This very easily could’ve been a friends to lovers like Radiance too.
But this is Katee Robert we’re talking about here, so the spice was straight fire instead! I’m a sucker for a cinnamon roll hero who likes it rough in bed, and that apparently applies to dragon heroes as well because Sol was perfect! And I love how Briar took ownership over her sexuality after her past marriage. Was the spice hot? Yes. But, even more, it felt emotionally deep because of these characters.
I’m excited to get to more in this monster romance series - especially Azael and Eve!
Spice: 5/5
