3.5/5. This book was wild. I didn't realize it was book 2 in a series, so I do think that would've helped me some if I'd read book 1. I felt thrown into this world with no intro, but that's on me so I'm not holding it against the story. This really was a whirlwind though. I mean one minute Jackson and Killian hate each other, then the next they're in love. What changed? I feel like this book could have been double the length and it would've made much more sense. I did like how possessive they were. That was fun. Overall, it was a short, quick, exciting read. I'll be reading the rest, I think.
