You don't HAVE to read Bone Clocks before Thousand Autumns, but every time Marinus said "oh, many lifetimes ago" or a character called
the baby-eating cult's
belief in immortality "impossible" I did a Leo DiCaprio point and felt like I was in on something.

This book really brought me back into the David Mitchell cinematic universe. I'm going to need to add a reread of Utopia Avenue to my list for next year.
