“You’re not very good at following directions, are you, Bunny?”
“Eyes on me, baby girl.”
“You know how beautiful you are when you’re on your knees for me.”
“Good girl using your safeword.”

I was lucky enough to ARC-read Run Rabbit Run a while ago and loved it. Reading this prequel brought so much more to the story.

I loved learning more about Bunny as a character and also seeing the beginning of her and Demetrius’s relationship and how their relationship developed to the point where it was at the beginning of Run Rabbit Run.

I liked the well-presented anxiety, PTSD and OCD representation in this book. In my opinion, the author writes the healthy BDSM dynamic and BDSM as a healing / coping mechanism really well.

Even though THIHS is a prequel to RRR, I highly recommend reading this after RRR. Reading THIHS first will spoil the ending of RRR.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
