This book absolutely wrecked my head. The first half of the book I struggled to keep up with all the characters and the different lands, don’t get me wrong I love a good complex book but I have to be honest and say I very nearly gave up on this one but being the stubborn cow I am I soldiered on and I was glad I did as the next 40 odd percent made me understand just why the first half of the book was written the way it was. The last half of the book was good, really good although I felt there were quite a few questions unanswered but I’ll let my own imagination fill in the gaps.
