When a woman working a soul-sucking corporate job gets place on a PIP the software that should simply flag her email for inappropriate messaging instead gives her access to the inboxes of everyone in the company. What starts out as a somewhat-zany piece of lit fic quickly develops into one of the best workplace dramas I’ve come across in years. The characters are relatable in their connections both with colleagues and with the people who motivate them to stay at a workplace they hate. I’m also glad I listened to this one because SNL/New Girl alum Nasim Pedrad was the perfect narrator for this audiobook.
