I’ve read every Vonnegut novel. This was the only one I hadn’t read. It’s about a lowly Nixon guy jailed for his part in the Watergate scandal. The first 40 pages of the book are a slog. The Walter character was sympathetic and funny. Still, far from KV’s best work.
