This one is hard for me. I really enjoyed it, and will probably read it again but I don’t like the dead husband best friend secretly in love steps up trope. I did love Vanni and Paul but I didn’t like that she killed off Matt to bring it about. I think I would have rather had Paul meet someone new who made them fall out of love with Vanni. I really didn’t appreciate Terri lying about who the father was. I really just don’t like reading about people lying about that kind of stuff it’s so hurtful to everyone involved, the dad, the family, and especially the poor kid.
