This is the first piece of prose I've genuinely enjoyed in a long time. It felt like I was just reading narrative poetry; which is what I love about Winterson's Books. I found myself relating to the characters more than I care to admit to myself, and I loved the blend of science fiction (does this count as that? unsure.) with literary fiction. I'd highly recommend this book to any poetry lover who wants to venture into prose or genre fiction and needs a starting point.
