End of Days by Susan Ee

3 or like 2,5 star, for now... This series's ending is the first ending that really disappointed me ever. Hope (Divergent) Allegiant have a better ending.
I think i've learned one important thing about writing, from this series/book. (Especially from this book) The importance of Good pacing, this book is too action packed, everything goes too fast, the reader needs time to breathe, to enjoy the action moments, and i'm pretty sure that the character need to eat, to drink, to sleep before fighting and fighting again and again
The two major things that annoyed me:
2.THE lack of originality. Maybe, it's just me. I may be too obsessed with [b:Blood Red Road|9917938|Blood Red Road (Dust Lands, #1)|Moira Young|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1293651959s/9917938.jpg|14692536] but I think this book has some identical scenes and ideas with BRR.
For example:
1 .Saba is sequestered and forced to fight for her life in the front of people.
Almost the same thing happened to Penryn, the only difference is that Saba Fights alone and Penryn have some help.
2. Penryn finds a wasteland place, Saba lives in a wasteland.
3. The BRR Saba meets gigantic worms, Penryn finds small worms in the sand.
4. In this book Penryn have a price on her head. In [b:Rebel Heart|13042154|Rebel Heart (Dust Lands, #2)|Moira Young|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1326311073s/13042154.jpg|18206269] Saba have a price on her head too.

And finally the next thing that annoyed me the most was: The Romance and the heroine.
Do you remember the independent woman that Penryn was in the previous books? She was a completely badass lady that hated angels. She didn't needed a man. Ok, now forget that badass lady, cause in this book we have a new Penryn, which is desperate to have sex with the hot archangel RAFFEE. And the last chapter, that very last chapter full of romance. Yuck. That chapter ruined the book for me and maybe even the entire trilogy. I regret because i didn't skipped that chapter...
In my personal opinion this trilogy didn't needed a romance at all.
I enjoyed the epilogue.
There is one thing I love the most about the trilogy: The complexity: This books don't focus only on the angels apocalypse idea. In the all three books happen a lot of things. This series is not ony part of the science fiction/post apocalyptic genre, is also a horror, a thriller, a adventure, a comedy, and a drama series in the same time.
Anyway I think this is a good trilogy that worth the read if you like science fiction and post apocalyptic novels and if you are ok with the Romance between a human and an angel. My favorite book from this trilogy is still [b:World After|17849112|World After (Penryn & the End of Days, #2)|Susan Ee|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1423238855s/17849112.jpg|18142457]
