The writing is simple and easy to read and understand. It’s at a fairly low reading level, meaning that some lines are a bit awkward to read or feel unnecessarily “explainy” but the story as a whole is captivating. I would have loved a longer story, to really delve into the dynamics and world. I for one LOVE descriptions and cannot get enough of them, but I felt like there wasn’t that much of it in this book. However, S.M Wilson creates a dynamic and fascinating Piloria and explores Storm’s various relationships/dynamics with different characters in a fun way. There are also some cute moments with Storm and Lincoln, as well as the fighting between Lincoln and Reban that made me go “eeeek” which I loved. All in all, great comfort book (and series as a whole), big fan.
