The book is very honest and realistic, and it provides an interesting perspective on being genderfluid. I've never read a book centering around a genderfluid character. I've read books with minor characters that are genderfluid, but this is a first. I loved how Symptoms made all of the gender identities (Trans, genderqueer, nonbinary) seem very normal. The characters were very realistic and pretty well developed, and the diversity was on point. I loved how we were introduced to all sorts of characters. This book was wonderful!
