Lennon & Phoenix’s story is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. I bounced between hurting for how Lennon was bullied, to hating Phoenix, so suffering through all the angst and heartache they both felt. While the main focus of their story may be about second chances and forgiveness, The Words focuses on harder topics like addiction and loss/grief. It was overwhelming, but so well done.

I will say that while The Words may have been my first book by Ashley Jade, it definitely isn’t going to be last!
