J A Jance's mystery novels are not the greatest but they are good enough that I want to keep following her Joana Brady series. Fire and Ice is set in both Southern Arizona and in Seattle, Washington. Her characters from two mystery series come together to solve some crimes that turn out to be connected. This is not the first time these two detectives have worked together. A strange combination, a Southern Arizona Sheriff and a Seattle cop now working for the Washington State Attorney General, but it seems believable enough for a story. Other reviewers I am sure will outline the plots and the crimes so I won't. I like the characters, the settings and the ways they connect.
